I love my work !: WIDA

I love my work !: WIDA

WIDA

I found them to be very user friendly and the standards "Wizard" was especially neat.In my Kindergarten classroom, I plan on directly hitting as many of these WIDA standards as possible throughout the year.WIDA ELP standards CAN BE used to determine the make-up of classrooms, so that students could be given the appropriate level of supports across each of the classrooms and grade levels.

I'm glad that our State is endorsing and joining WIDA. Each level is clearly defined and tells what student will be able to do.

WIDA (World-Class Instructional Design and Assessment

Early this Fall Minnesota state Commissioner of Education announced the joining with other states to WIDA. Minnesota is the 24th state member. I am fortunate to be able to get trained last Spring and this Fall again. 3 things that impressed during the training were: The descriptors of what students CAN DO for each level , from 1-6. The clear inclusion of the Content with Language Beginning level to advanced level.
